Digging ten bodies
Ikuko and Dorjee continue to dig the darkness of body for finding ten bodies.
Dancers life is the same as mine worker, just dig and dig in the body.
With learning Hijikata's last butoh score. It is so deep and hard. But
als oit is the most happiest time for dancers to meet new subbodies in
the researching.
We need at least ten bodies to create a solo to dance whole self, hopely
twenty
bodies. We cannot have a rest at all to be a butoh dancer. Everyday we
need to open hidden joints, hidden muscles, hidden cavities, and hidden
skins. Only a few people who can continue the digging life as a miner of
the darkness of body can be a butoh dancer.
